Weekend With Me and My Dad

Jackson tried on his first pair of shoes...Vans (a skate shoe, of course!).
I was at a gymnastics meet over the weekend and this was my first night away and Brian's first night all on his own. This was definitely much harder than I think either of us expected! There was one freak out moment on everyone's part, but it was eventually resolved. Jackson had decided not to take a bottle for over 7 hours! Dad had a good talk with him and they worked things out. In this picture, Sanford and Jackson are watching their first cartoon together...Pooh and Tigger.

Jackson hit a few milestones this weekend, including holding his bottle on his own!
BUSTED!!! Now you'll have to hold your own bottle when eating with Daddy! :)

Hitting My Parrot

Here's a video of a lot of the things that Jackson has just started doing. He's getting very good at entertaining himself for a few minutes on his Tummy Time mat. He's having so much fun trying to grasp at everything, although sometimes I think he gets frustrated too!

Sitting up Smiling

Jackson has become so animated in the past few weeks. He smiles all the time and laughs too.

He loves bath time and to rock in his chair.

He just learned how to grab both hands together, stick them into his mouth (preferably at the same time), stick his tougue out at you, and he's beginning to learn how to sit up from a reclined position. Oh, and a week ago he rolled over from his back to his stomach. He hasn't done it since, but we're waiting to get that one on camera! There's always something new to learn in Jackson's day. Until the next time...

My First Halloween

Jackson got all dressed up after Dad got home from work. He put his wiskers on and toured the neighborhood. Everyone loved his outfit!

Sanford dressed up in his best tuxedo...
and Anson cowered around totally embarassed wearing his "Fire Hydrant Inspector" t-shirt! :) Jackson had so much fun smiling and cooing at all of the neighbors that he passed out in Mommy's arms on the way home. Trick or Treating success!!!
